It's hard to believe we've been doing this Charitocracy OBX thing for over a year, and just concluded our 2nd "giving season!" I love these charities you're picking as winners, and so many of the recent nominees as well. Keep up the great work with your donations, nominations, invitations, and, of course, votes! Let's make 2022 the best year yet. ❤️

December 2021 winner Food for Thought

As the ball dropped on New Year's Eve we named Charitocracy OBX's 15th monthly winner! Congratulations to Food for Thought, nominated by donor whitelin. (They also won the national version of Charitocracy back in July 2020!) They reduce hunger and academic risk facing elementary children by providing healthy meals to build strong minds. Now you have a week to sweeten the pot with a special one-time donation of any amount, which we'll add straight to the check we write to Food for Thought. In fact, we already had one come in!
