    Thanks for considering Dare Education Foundation for funding! It is during times like these that I am proud to be a part of the Dare Education Foundation, working to advance innovation in education in Dare County, reduce disparities, and support students and teachers. For 20 years, we have addressed the most pressing education issues and funded innovative solutions to drive transformational change, including providing teacher housing and professional development, grants to schools, and college scholarships.

    These are unprecedented times for education, and this year we’ve also addressed the immediate needs of students by providing free WiFi access to 125 homeless youth in the district, and adaptive technology for students requiring additional support in accessing online learning.

    We are trying to take care of each other and you by building a robust, community-supported educational system. Thanks to the generosity of this community, the Dare Education Foundation is privileged to have assets, including an endowment and teacher housing which financially support our operations, meaning that every dollar donated to us directly supports our programs.

    We are DEF-initely stronger together!
