We have a partnership to announce, some additional donation options going live in the coming weeks, and also a Charitocracy live event happening here on the Outer Banks in October. Stay tuned for the exciting news, and in the meantime, mark the date on your calendar: Saturday October 15!

August 2022 winner Network for Endangered Sea Turtles

At midnight on August 31 we named Charitocracy OBX's 23rd monthly winner! Congratulations to Network for Endangered Sea Turtles, a.k.a. N.E.S.T., nominated by donor bjstager. They preserve and protect the habitats and migration routes of Sea Turtles and other marine animals on the Outer Banks. You can find their website here.

Now you have a week to sweeten the pot with a special one-time donation of any amount, which we'll add straight to the check we write to N.E.S.T. next week.
